Curriculum Vitae

Tanja Haferkorn works as a graduate research assistant for Prof. Monika Fludernik at the English Department of the University of Freiburg. She joined the Reinhart Koselleck-Project “Diachronic Narratology“ in September 2020, where she is currently studying the evolution of narratological features in Elizabethan low prose, including rogue (auto-)biographies, cony-catching pamphlets, and other picaresque narratives of the 16th and early 17th centuries. During her studies, she spent one year abroad at Durham University (UK) and two years at Yale University (USA), for which she received scholarships from Fulbright and the State Baden-Württemberg. She holds a Master’s degree in “English Literatures and Literary Theory“ from the University of Freiburg, completed with distinction in 2014. Her Master’s thesis focused on representations of reading in Victorian life-writing.
